No matter how you come through Chatham, there is a BASH 2010 Banner staring you in the face. Now if bikers would just come and ride through town, now until show time, the last weekend in August, the town folks would get used to the noise. They would also see that bikers just love riding around and having a good time.
Our list of vendors is growing and it seems we will be able to handle all their needs. Those needing 220 volt electric had us going for a bit, but we have that under control now. At this point, it looks like we will be having to run a generator behind the big stage, since all the amps require 3 phase. We found what they are calling a whisper generator from Midway Rentals that will handle that. One of the goals, if we get a big enough turn out, we will be able to afford to have the power company hook us up with 3 phase for next year.
With the verbal response we of had so far of people saying they are coming, it sure looks like we will be looking at an Annual event. God knows we are doing everything we can to make this first year a smash hit. We have wrapped up our sponsors needed for the 48 TV spots on CBS - Green Bay 3 & 5 and now we are working on the group of spots for ABC 10 in Marquette. A lot of people have told me they have heard our radio spots on the Radio Results Network stations as well.
